RoomStack Terms of Use

Effective date: July 15, 2026

By downloading, installing, or using RoomStack ("the App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. LICENSE

Subject to these Terms and to Apple's Standard End User License Agreement, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use RoomStack on Apple devices you own or control, for your own personal, non-commercial use.

2. YOUR CONTENT

You retain all rights to the photos, item details, and any other content you create within RoomStack ("Your Content"). We do not access, view, host, or claim any ownership over Your Content — it's stored on your device and, only if you enable it, your own personal iCloud account. You're solely responsible for Your Content and for keeping backups of it.

3. PURCHASES

RoomStack Pro is an optional feature unlock, sold as a one-time, non-consumable purchase through the App Store. It is not a subscription: it does not renew, expire, or bill you again. All payment processing is handled by Apple; refund requests must be made to Apple, not to us.

4. ACCEPTABLE USE

You agree not to use RoomStack for any unlawful purpose, or to attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the App beyond what's permitted by applicable law.

5. NO WARRANTY; YOUR RESPONSIBILITY FOR BACKUPS

RoomStack is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. RoomStack is a record-keeping tool, not a substitute for professional insurance, legal, financial, or tax advice. Because your data is stored primarily on your device, you are responsible for maintaining your own backups. We strongly recommend enabling iCloud backup & sync and/or periodically exporting a manual backup file.

6. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or revenue, arising from your use of, or inability to use, RoomStack.

7. CHANGES TO ROOMSTACK

We may update RoomStack from time to time — adding, changing, improving, or removing features. We aim to preserve your existing data across updates.

8. CHANGES TO THESE TERMS

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.

9. TERMINATION

You may stop using RoomStack at any time by deleting it from your device.

10. GOVERNING LAW

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Alberta, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. You and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Alberta, Canada. Nothing in this section takes away any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the laws of the country where you live.
